ORIGINAL AIR DATE: September 04, 1971 (This was the LAST
     show that aired on ABC - TV and was followed on September 11, 1971
     with the first Welk Show broadcast in syndication...without missing a
     single week of  THE LAWRENCE WELK SHOW).

This Welk program from 1971 opens on a musical high-note with the band
and “Say It With Music.” Bobby and Cissy dance to the Mancini hit song,
“Moon River,” and our Champagne Lady Norma Zimmer performs a heartfelt
rendition of "I Asked the Lord.”  Myron Floren is featured with the band in
“The 12th Street Rag,” and Bob Lido, Mary Lou Metzger and the Hotsy Totsy
Boys are “Runnin’ Wild.”  Guy and Ralna perform “True Love.”

09. Calcutta - orchestra, featuring Bob Ralston on harpsichord, Buddy Merrill
                          on electric guitar, Myron Floren on accordion, with Salli Flynn,
                          Sandi Griffiths, Mary Lou Metzger and Gail Farrell clapping
                          and singing. (With accolades from Lawrence Welk for Randy
                          Wood of Ranwood Recording Company for his work in making
                          so many Welk recordings successful).
